Our mission, through the game of basketball, is to teach girls how to be strong, independent women. We aim to empower young girls with knowledge that will help in today’s world and for years ahead. We provide players with chances to grow in the sport, motivate others and opportunities to become leaders of both today and tomorrow. With a focus on our core values…team, family, and being united…we believe we can help develop strong moral character, promote a winning spirit and teach the value in being part of something more than just ourselves. Our hope is that every girl that plays for Carolina Hornets United achieves the goals they have established for themselves whether that be a career, higher-education, college athletics and/or leadership roles.
